The Obstacle to Waking Up From the Dream

Notice when you are dreaming, that you are caught up with the story of the fictional character of you (who doesn't really exist, and is not really there, but none-the-less, the experience is taken as true.)

Some events in the dream also have their own internal logic, however, when examined from the awake point-of-view, is seen to be completely illogical. However, the circular logic of the dream makes it seem probable.

The only obstacle to waking up from the dream is to be distracted within the dream by identifying with issues that need to be solved. When the issues are identified with, the seeking begins. This seeking prevents the ALWAYS, ALREADY fact of REALITY AS IT IS.

It is SEEKING for the solution to the so-called problem, and the involvement with the problem, that takes up the attention and makes us not see that it is an illusion.

It is the SEEKING for something that will make the "ME" in the dream feel better. As long as the search is on, it is not possible to look and see that the SEARCH IS USELESS!

AS IN THE DREAM, SO IS IT WITH THIS SO-CALLED "WAKING STATE".

By Grace, YOU ARE DIVINELY DISTRACTED, BY THIS POST RIGHT NOW, TO REST AS THE REALITY, PRIOR TO THE SEARCH.

DROP THE SEARCH, AND ALL IS FOUND, TO BE RIGHT HERE! ALWAYS, ALREADY!

Understanding Pointers as Pointers

As long as there is no clear understanding of what the word "Self" is pointing at, there will always be confusion over the fact that Self-Remembering and self-forgetting are the same.

As Sri Mooji has said so beautifully:

"If you think you are a person
-forget yourself.

If you think you are the Being
-remember yourself.

When you know you are Awareness
-there is nothing to remember or forget."

(Sri Mooji, Writing on Water p.28)
